About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has opened for an energetic, results-driven Wholesale Sales Contractor to join our established fashion agency operating out of our Brisbane showroom.
We represent an extensive portfolio of over 25 boutique labels spanning womenswear, footwear, handbags, jewelry and fashion accessories. We are seeking a dedicated sales professional to drive wholesale growth across Brisbane, coastal Queensland, and surrounding stockist accounts.
This is a turn-key contracting role. You will be handed an active stockist account base, a strong list of qualified prospects, complete sample sets, and full access to our Brisbane showroom to host buyer appointments.
What We Offer
- Weekly Retainer: $325/week base support to assist with local travel, phone, and ongoing account management.
- Travel Allowance: Up to $150/night allowance for approved overnight regional road trips (for travel beyond 100 km from base).
- Competitive Commission: 7.5% base commission on written and delivered wholesale orders.
- New Label Opening Bonus: $50 cash bonus for every new label successfully sold into a stockist.
- Turn-Key Support: Immediate access to an active stockist database, warm prospect leads, sample sets, and back-office order support.
- Prime Showroom Access: Professional Brisbane showroom space available to present seasonal ranges to buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct range appointments with boutique retail buyers both in our Brisbane showroom and on the road.
- Proactively present new label collections to existing stockist accounts to expand range carry.
- Target and onboard new boutique stockists across Brisbane and key regional territories.
- Manage order writing, buyer follow-ups, and relationship management.
- Maintain and organize physical sample sets across our label portfolio.
Key Requirements
- Valid ABN and setup as an independent contractor.
- Proven track record in B2B fashion wholesale, agency representation, or high-end retail account management.
- Strong existing relationships with boutique fashion buyers across Queensland is highly regarded.
- Dedicated focus—due to the scale of our 25-label portfolio, this role requires a committed rep focused on our brand lineup.
- Driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and mobile device for road travel and buyer meetings.
