Longs Packaging Pty Ltd is a leading packaging supplier servicing businesses across Melbourne. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver & Warehouse Storeperson to join our team.
This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with customer deliveries. Applicants must have their own van suitable for transporting cartons and packaging products throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area.
About the Role
Your time will be split between warehouse operations and local deliveries. You will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and delivered in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders
- Load and unload stock and customer deliveries
- Complete local deliveries and collections using your own van
- Check incoming goods and put stock away
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation
- Assist with stocktakes and inventory control
- Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable van suitable for transporting cartons and packaging products
- Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience preferred
- Good knowledge of Melbourne metropolitan roads
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Good communication and customer service skills
