We’re looking for a friendly and organised Casual Receptionist to join our team at 1300SMILES.
Based across our North Shore and Belgian Gardens practices, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating warm first impressions, supporting patients, and keeping the front desk running smoothly in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Whether you already have experience in dental/medical reception or come from a strong customer service or admin background, we’d love to hear from you!
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:

Full availability, including weekends, with the ability to work 30–38 hours per week

Previous administrative or organisational experience (preferred)

Flexibility to work across both Belgian Gardens and North Shore locations

Own reliable transport

A friendly, professional manner with strong communication skills

Job Description
As our Dental Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our valued patients, setting the tone for an exceptional experience from the moment they walk in. This role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, is organised, and enjoys being part of a dynamic team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Warmly greeting patients and providing them with a stellar first impression of 1300SMILES.

Managing appointments and patient records with a keen eye for detail and efficiency.

Offering support and information to our patients, ensuring they feel informed and at ease.

Working closely with our dental professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Contributing to the positive and inclusive culture at our practice.
Qualifications

Demonstrates a warm, professional manner and the ability to create a positive patient experience.

Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Works collaboratively within a team environment and provides support to colleagues as required.

Displays enthusiasm for learning, professional development, and taking on new responsibilities.

Previous experience in dental or medical reception is highly regarded; however, strong customer service experience and a positive, committed attitude are equally valued.

Availability for occasional late-night shifts and weekends as required.
