JE & MC Neave & Sons is seeking an experienced Production Horticulture Supervisor to support the day-to-day operation of our commercial vegetable production business.
The role is hands-on and involves crop production, irrigation, chemical application, harvesting operations, machinery operation, and supervision of production activities to ensure quality, safety and productivity standards are achieved.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in agriculture, horticulture or commercial produce production.
- Experience with agricultural chemical handling and application.
- Experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery.
- Ability to supervise and provide guidance to production teams.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Licences Required
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Demonstrated tractor operating experience.
Highly Regarded
- ChemCert or Agricultural Chemical Users Certificate.
- Irrigation experience.
- Machinery maintenance skills.
- Experience in commercial vegetable production.
- Knowledge of Freshcare Standards and HACCP.
