The Fabrication Company is a growing, family-owned business specialising in the fabrication and installation of architectural metalwork throughout South East Queensland.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Installation Supervisor to lead our site installation team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the tools while taking ownership of projects from site measure through to completion.
Projects include:
- Aluminium & glass balustrades
- Screening & battens
- Gates & fencing
- Handrails
- Window hoods
- Architectural feature metalwork
About the Role:
✔ Manage and perform site installations with the support of an offsider/s
✔ Read and interpret shop drawings
✔ Conduct site measures and pre-install inspections
✔ Liaise professionally with builders, site supervisors and clients
✔ Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
✔ Train and mentor junior installers
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience installing architectural metalwork, glazing, facades, structural steel, commercial aluminium or similar
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- White Card
- Working at Heights
- EWP Licence
- Current Driver's Licence (HR highly regarded)
- Reliable, organised and solutions-focused
Salary package negotiable and will reflect experience
Pay: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour
Experience:
- Commissioning Gate Motors: 2 years (Preferred)
- Site Installation : 5 years (Required)
Licence/Certification:
- Working at Heights (Required)
- EWP Ticket (Required)
- HR licence (Preferred)
