Osiris Funerals a very fast growing company is seeking caring, reliable, and community-minded individual to join our team as Bookkeeper. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our operations, ensuring efficient management of budgets, accounts, and financial reporting.
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
· Record daily financial transactions accurately.
· Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
· Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
· Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
· Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
· Generate financial reports for management.
· Track and categorize business expenses.
· Assist in preparing BAS, GST, and tax-related documents.
· Monitor cash flow and budget tracking.
· Maintain records of supplier and customer accounts.
· Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year financial closings.
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
· Use accounting software to manage financial data.
· Communicate with accountants, auditors, and tax professionals.
The suitable applicants should:
· Have AQF Certificate III including at least two years relevant experience, or AQF Certificate IV or at least three years of relevant experience.
· Ability to work in Xero.
· Drive for continuous improvement.
· Strong attention to detail and a team player with a positive mindset.
· Excellent communication skills.
The employer will offer:
· A full-time contract for at least 3 years, extendable for further term.
· An annual salary of $73,000 - $78,000 (negotiable) + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidates with relevant qualification and experience.
