We're offering an exciting traineeship for someone passionate about photography and video, ready to build a real career in content creation. You'll join our Wollongong-based digital marketing agency and work hands-on producing daily video and photography content for a diverse range of clients.
This is a genuine learning opportunity where you'll develop your craft on the job, gain real-world experience, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, creative environment. We're looking for someone with a strong eye, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in where AI is taking content creation.
About the Work
Much of our work is trade and construction based, alongside consultancy-type service businesses. That means you'll often be out on-site, capturing real projects, real people, and real stories, so you'll need to be comfortable working in active work environments (and willing to obtain a White Card).
You won't just be pointing and shooting. You'll be working to detailed creative briefs, but also making your own decisions on-site to capture the best possible content, framing, angles, lighting, and moments that bring each project to life.
What You'll Be Doing
- Creating daily video and photography content across a range of clients and projects
- Capturing interview and speaking content, including testimonials and talking-head style videos
- Working to detailed creative briefs while making your own on-the-spot decisions to get the best shots
- Shooting on-site across trade, construction, and service business projects
- Capturing high-quality footage and imagery that can be turned into engaging marketing content
- Learning and applying new tools, techniques, and AI-driven approaches to content creation

- An understanding of and genuine interest in AI and how it's shaping content (required)
- Able to follow a detailed brief while confidently making creative decisions on-site
- A good eye for framing, composition, lighting, and storytelling
- Creative, motivated, and eager to learn and grow into the role
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in on-site trade and construction environments
- Willing and able to obtain a White Card (as this role involves trade and construction-based work)
