Job tasks and responsibilities
A day in the life of our Assistant Front Office Manager at The Reef House Adults Retreat Palm Cove
- Welcoming guests to the hotel whilst providing prompt, personalised service and efficient check in and check out throughout their stay
- Assisting guests with requests and memorable experiences by sharing your hotel and local knowledge.
- Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of guest amenities and ensuring the security of our guests and their possessions.
- Promoting and up-selling hotel facilities
- Daily liaison with inter-departments such as food & beverage and housekeeping for guest movements, requests and activities.
- Meeting and exceeding guest expectations and handling customer complaints in an efficient and proactive manner.
- Night Auditing (not overnight)
- Providing personalised service to each and every guest.
- Working Night shifts on a regular basis
- Being able to learn all job aspects of the Front Office Manager
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will have a natural ability to 'surprise' guests with your authentic customer service, setting you apart from the rest. As well as:
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in a luxury environment
- Demonstrate ability in delivering guest centric experiences
- A passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for working with people from all over the world
- Professional manner
- Previous experience with a PMS. Opera desirable however not essential
- You will have exceptional communication skills and customer service flair.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including week-ends, nights and public holidays
- Unlimited work rights in Australia
- At least 2 year experience in a similar role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
