Jump Inn Craft Beer Bar and Restaurant is looking for an experienced bar all-arounder to run our onsite bar/restaurant. This position is on casual basis with above award wage for the best candidate.
You will be required to do the following duties:
A casual Bar All-Arounder with minimum 2 years of full time bar experience
Mixology knowledge is a must! (for creating interesting cocktails)
Organized, efficient and could prioritize tasks in an occasional fast-paced environment
Be with us for at least 3 months in Alice Springs, NT
Has an RSA and is available Monday to Saturday from 5 pm
Exceptional knowledge and standards of food safety, hygiene and personal grooming
A team player who is fun, energetic, reliable with clear communication in a professional and respectful manner
Eye for detail is a plus!
Research and learn about the craft beers we stock and relay this information to staff
Review sales and beverage costs and reconcile any discrepancies in accounting. Ensure proper cash management.
Working with diverse personalities both on the staff and patrons.
Address customer inquiries and complaints.
Diffusing tense situations between patrons or staff members to prevent possible safety or legal issues, ejecting unruly persons, if needed.
Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons.
To be considered for this role you should:
Be proficient with point-of-sale software.
Can work independently
A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and stay cool under pressure.
Have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
Be physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to carry 25 or more pounds of supplies.
