Credera is looking for a full-time Senior Architect, Digital Platform Solutions to join our team in either Sydney or Melbourne.
The Senior Architect, Digital Platform Solutions is responsible for leading solution architecture, technical design and technical delivery across complex digital platform engagements. The role acts as the primary solution owner on assigned engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes through strong architecture, pragmatic decision-making, and close collaboration with delivery teams and client stakeholders.
Senior Architects are delivery-anchored leaders who operate hands-on across the lifecycle of an engagement, from early solutioning through to delivery and escalation. This includes providing technical leadership and contributing directly to build activities, including coding, configuration, and implementation where required as part of the project role. While primarily focused on engagement-level outcomes, the role also contributes to broader practice maturity through mentoring, standards adoption, and knowledge sharing.
Job Duties:
Solution and delivery leadership
- Own solution architecture and technical direction for assigned digital platform engagements.
- Act as the primary architecture and technical escalation point within the engagement.
- Translate business, experience, and functional requirements into clear, scalable, and maintainable platform solutions.
- Remain hands-on throughout delivery, contributing to architecture, design, configuration, integration, and complex problem solving as required, including hands-on build and coding where appropriate.
- Guide delivery teams through ambiguity, balancing pragmatism, quality, and delivery constraints.
- Support early-stage solutioning and proposal activities for assigned opportunities.
Client engagement and advisory
- Establish credibility as the day-to-day solution leader with client stakeholders.
- Facilitate solution workshops and architecture discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and risks in practical, client-friendly terms.
- Support Delivery Leads in managing client expectations related to platform and solution decisions.
Quality, risk, and delivery assurance
- Ensure solution quality and adherence to agreed standards throughout delivery.
- Identify architectural, platform, or delivery risks early and drive mitigation actions.
- Contribute to reviews, checkpoints, and quality assurance activities as required.
People leadership and mentoring
- Mentor and support Senior Consultants and Consultants within delivery teams.
- Provide guidance and feedback to help team members grow their technical and consulting capability.
- Act as a role model for strong consulting behaviours, collaboration, and technical craft.
Capability and practice contribution
- Apply and reinforce practice standards, patterns, and ways of working on engagements.
- Contribute to reusable assets, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in communities of practice and capability initiatives within Digital Platform Solutions & across adjacent practices.
Cross-practice collaboration
- Collaborate with adjacent practices and capabilities to deliver coherent, multi-disciplinary solutions.
- Support broader digital, experience, and transformation initiatives where expertise is required.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and skills
- Strong experience designing and delivering digital platform solutions across CMS, DXP, composable, or related ecosystems.
- Solid architecture and solution design capability, with an understanding of integration patterns and supporting services.
- Ability to remain hands-on while providing clear technical leadership and direction.
- Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Consulting capability
- Proven ability to lead solution discussions and workshops.
- Comfortable operating in client-facing environments with competing priorities and constraints.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Education and experience
- Significant experience (typically 6+ years) in digital platform, technology, or consulting roles.
- Demonstrated experience owning solution architecture on complex delivery engagements.
