Our Casual Event Car Parking Attendants play an important role in creating a positive first and last impression for guests attending events at the venue. As part of our Event Operations team, you will help ensure the safe, efficient and professional management of vehicle and pedestrian traffic before, during and after events.
Working in a fast paced and customer focused environment, you will assist patrons arriving by private vehicle, bus and other forms of transport, providing clear direction and exceptional customer service while maintaining safety at all times.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure the safe and efficient movement of patrons throughout venue precincts and car parks.
- Assisting with car park operations, including parking allocation and traffic flow management.
- Collecting cashless parking fees in accordance with venue procedures.
- Providing guests with information, directions and assistance in a courteous and professional manner.
- Monitoring parking areas to ensure vehicles are parked safely and in designated locations.
- Responding to changing traffic conditions and operational requirements during events.
- Working collaboratively with venue staff, security personnel and event stakeholders to support the successful delivery of events.

- Follow directions and operational procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing traffic and event requirements.
- Experience using mobile point of sale and EFTPOS systems will be highly regarded.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Built by the Brisbane City Council as a world class multipurpose facility, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre formed part of Brisbane's bid for the 1992 Olympic Games. The Centre has been operated since its inception by Legends Global (formerly ASM Global and AEG Ogden Brisbane Pty Ltd). Ownership was transferred to Stadiums Queensland (formerly Major Sports Facilities Authority) from 1 July 2002.
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre has hosted a diverse range of events including Monster Trucks, Supercross, Circuses, Bull Riding, Concerts, Conventions, School Speech Nights, Ice Spectaculars, Wrestling and Boxing.
Primarily recognised as a venue to host concerts, family shows and sporting events, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre also specialises in staging corporate events in particular conferences, seminars, product launches and gala banquets.
