As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a Procurement Specialist to oversee purchasing operations, supplier coordination, inventory replenishment, and procurement data management. This role plays an important part in ensuring product availability, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting the business's commercial performance.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day procurement process from purchase order creation through to supplier coordination, inventory replenishment, invoice verification, and procurement reporting.
Working closely with our Sales, Customer Operations, and Warehouse teams, you will help ensure products are purchased accurately, suppliers meet agreed delivery timeframes, inventory levels remain balanced, and procurement data is maintained accurately across our internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including raising and issuing purchase orders to approved suppliers.
· Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and product availability.
· Monitor outstanding purchase orders and proactively follow up on supplier lead times and delivery performance.
· Review supplier invoices against purchase orders and investigate pricing or quantity discrepancies.
· Maintain accurate supplier pricing, procurement records, and product information within internal systems.
· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to support customer demand while minimising stock shortages and excess inventory.
· Analyse freight expenditure and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.
· Monitor product cost movements and report significant changes that may affect business profitability.
· Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Operations, and Warehouse teams, to support efficient order fulfilment.
· Assist with supplier performance monitoring and contribute to ongoing improvements in procurement and supply chain processes.
· Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
You will ideally have:
· Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, inventory, or supplier management.
· Strong attention to detail with excellent administrative accuracy.
· Experience coordinating with suppliers and managing purchase orders.
· Ability to analyse pricing, invoices, inventory levels, and procurement information.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong organisational and time management abilities.
· Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with ERP or inventory management systems.
· Ability to prioritise competing tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
· A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous process improvement.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
