The role: a new opportunity has arisen for a hospitality professional with proven experience to deliver high levels of customer service, for a casual dual Café Assistant and Cleaning role at our Residential Care Home, Healthia based in Elizabeth.
What you'll do:
- Taking orders, preparing beverages including coffees
- Food preparation
- Maintain high standards and food safety practices according to ACH Group food safety plan
- Build relationships and community engagement through outstanding customer service
- Ordering stock and maintaining adequate levels
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team to support the wellbeing of customers
- Conduct a variety of domestic tasks
- Use a variety of cleaning products in a safe manner
- Assist the customers to live a good life
About you:
- Customer service and food preparation experience
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Fluency in English language, including written & verbal communication skills
- A passion for supporting choice and independence
You will need:
- A satisfactory National Criminal History Record Check, no older than 12 months at commencement of employment
It would also be helpful if you had:
- A food handling certificate, barista experience and experience in a similar role is highly desired
- Experience in commercial cleaning
- A Certificate in Cleaning Operations is highly desirable, but not essential

ACH Group is a not-for-profit organisation in the Health Care Sector.
