We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to join our team at our boutique aged care facility in Parkside.
This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene, supports quality meal service, and contributes to a safe, welcoming environment for our residents.
You’ll be part of a supportive and dedicated team that makes a real difference every day.
Role: Chef (Full Time)
To be successful in this role:

Ensure all meals serviced are of a high quality and are of a restaurant standard

Have a good understanding of hygiene and safety procedures
-
Promote a safe work environment by identifying, evaluating and controlling hazards, reporting hazards/accidents.

Collaborate on menu planning to provide meals that are nutritious and enjoyable.

Participation in in-service educational programmes as required by management
-
Follow infection control practices and safety procedures at all times
-
Manage your time effectively to complete tasks promptly and efficiently

Be reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
-
Demonstrate empathy and respect when supporting residents and colleagues
-
Be adaptable to changing needs and able to handle busy periods calmly
Essentials:

National Police Clearance (no older than 2 years)

Up-to-date Influenza vaccination
-
Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Desirable:

Previous experience in aged care or a fast-paced environment
