About the Role
Location: Huntly and Marong (Bendigo Region- Victoria)
Employment Type: Casual
Hours (Monday–Friday):
- Before School Care: 7:00am – 9:00am
- After School Care: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
- Vacation Care: Between 7:30am – 6.00pm
Total Hours:
- Up to 15+ hrs per week (during school terms)
- minimum casual 20 hrs/week (during Vacation Care)
As the OSHC qualified Assistant, you will be part of a passionate team to deliver a safe, engaging, and compliant program. You'll deliver exciting activities, build meaningful connections with children and families, and play an active role within the school community.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive and initiative in delivering a child care program that is creative, engaging and enriching
- Building strong, positive relationships with families and the school community
- Ensuring compliance, safety, and high-quality care
- Overseeing documentation, medical records, and daily operations
About You
- A natural carer who loves working with children and has worked in the sector previously
- Confident communicator across children, families, and school staff
- Creative, energetic, and FUN
- Strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude
- Able to maintain a clean, nurturing, and welcoming environment
- Diploma qualified or actively working towards a qualified qualification (as per ACECQA standards)
