Behind the scenes. Keeping everything shining.
We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Stockroom & Maintenance team member to join our Beacon Lighting Windsor store. This is a permanent full-time role (76 hours per fortnight), working Monday to Friday—with the added bonus of no weekend work.
Beacon Lighting is not your average retailer—our people, culture and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING HERE
Enjoy competitive pay, profit share incentives, birthday leave, generous team discounts, on-site parking, and a friendly, supportive team culture. With a strong focus on work-life balance, this role offers no late nights and no weekends, so you can enjoy your time outside of work. You’ll also receive full training, seasonal product previews, and genuine opportunities for career development within a growing national business.
With a passion for people, we value our teams and treat everyone as part of the Beacon family!
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Based in our Fountain Gate store, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. Working as part of a supportive team, you will:
Unload, receive and put away stock, keeping everything moving through the store efficiently
Keep the stockroom in top shape—clean, safe and organised at all times
Rotate and replenish stock to support store presentation and availability
Carry out general maintenance tasks, including patching, painting and basic repairs
Install pre-wired lighting and fans as required in-store
Jump in on deliveries, including occasional drop-offs or pickups
Support the team on the floor with basic customer assistance when needed
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE
Hands-on experience in warehousing, stock handling, maintenance or a trade-support role
A practical, can-do attitude—you don’t wait to be asked, you get things done
Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces organised and functional
Comfortable working with basic systems (POS, Microsoft Office) when required
Able to work independently and manage physical, varied tasks across the day
A current driver’s license and willingness to be on the move when needed
We're more than a lighting retailer—we're a team of passionate people helping Australians live brighter. With over 50 years of success, our growth continues to be powered by strong values, great customer experiences and a culture that puts people first.
