We're looking for individuals who are passionate about conservation, land management and working collaboratively. Your strong compliance and systems background will be key in juggling and meeting competing priorities, while your ability to motivate and influence your team will be the key to achieving outcomes in a busy and changing environment. To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Ability to manage a compliance program and systems including the development of strategies, policies and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of protected area legislation. e.g. Nature Conservation Act 1992, Recreation Areas Management Act 2006, Marine Parks Act 2004
- Strong communications skills and the ability to deliver training and mentoring to internal staff, external agencies and First Nations groups.
- Ability to build sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong problem solving and resolution skills.
- High level analytical and data presentation skills
