Key Responsibilities:
· Perform MIG welding and fabrication of reinforcing steel cages and components.
· Read and interpret fabrication drawings, plans, and job specifications.
· Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
· Measure, cut, position, and assemble steel components prior to welding.
· Ensure welds meet quality requirements and Australian Standards.
· Conduct visual inspections of completed welds and identify any defects or issues.
· Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including safe handling of materials and equipment.
· Maintain a clean and organised work area.
· Complete production records and follow company quality procedures.
· Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet production schedules.
Pay: From $79,499.00 per year
