Educator Opportunity – After School Care (South Tweed, NSW)
Northern Rivers In Home Care is seeking an experienced Educator to provide after school care for a 9-year-old child in South Tweed, NSW.
Role Details:
- Days: Tuesdays and Wednesday during school terms
- Hours: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide after school care tailored to the child’s interests and needs
- Support the child’s social, emotional, and physical development through engaging activities
- Maintain clear communication with the family and Northern Rivers In Home Care
- Ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment that encourages learning and play
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with school-aged children
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (early childhood specific)
- Working With Children Check (NSW)
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
- Child Protection Training completed within the last 2 years
- ABN (contractor/self-employed position)
- PRODA
- Strong commitment to child safety and child-safe practices
- Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), including the National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework
