Botanic House is a premium dining destination located in the heart of the Royal Botanic Garden, delivering sophisticated food, wine and cocktail experiences in one of Sydney's most iconic settings.
We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join our Front of House team.
We are looking for someone who is confident behind a cocktail bar, understands premium hospitality and is equally comfortable stepping out from behind the bar to support the wider floor team when required.
About the role
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cocktails, wine and beverage service while providing exceptional customer service.
You will play an important role in creating a seamless experience between the bar and restaurant, working closely with the floor team and stepping onto the floor when required to support service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails and beverages.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits and wine.
- Confidently recommend cocktails and wine based on guest preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional bar throughout service.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to guests at the bar and on the floor.
- Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service.
- Be willing to step away from the bar and support the floor during busy periods.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene and service.
- Contribute positively to the wider Front of House team.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working in a One Hat restaurant or a similar level premium restaurant bar.
- Proven experience working behind a cocktail bar.
- Strong cocktail, wine and beverage knowledge.
- Confidence recommending wine and cocktails to guests.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for premium hospitality.
- A team-first attitude and willingness to support the floor when required.
- Impeccable personal presentation.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- The ability to remain calm and professional during busy services.
- Current NSW RSA.
- Full Australian working rights.

Pay: $34.96 – $69.93 per hour
