Description:
Key Responsibilities
Roster, schedule and adjust production activities to meet daily orders, DIFOT targets, budget requirements and safety standards.
Supervise production lines across high care, allergen and low-risk areas, including processing, assembly and packing activities.
Operate machinery when required, support machine operators and provide training, guidance and supervision to team members.
Communicate production requirements clearly to workers and relevant teams to ensure objectives are achieved.
Monitor production targets, line efficiency, quality standards, labelling, packaging and customer specifications.
Coordinate resources, allocate tasks and motivate the team to maintain safe, efficient and high-volume production.
Support GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality systems and company procedures across all production activities.
Escalate equipment issues, risks and hazards, and work with maintenance teams to support reliable machinery performance.
Prepare daily productivity and shift-end reports for relevant teams.
Ensure workers follow WHS requirements, PPE procedures, company policies and safe work practices.
Skills and Experiences:
Essential Requirements
Experience supervising production lines in an FMCG, fresh produce, food manufacturing or similar high-volume environment.
Knowledge of fresh produce production, packing, processing and machinery operation.
Strong working knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety standards.
Ability to lead, supervise and support a diverse workforce to achieve production outcomes.
Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to provide clear feedback and guidance.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process, productivity, quality, cost and customer service improvements.
Commitment to workplace health and safety, ethical work practices and compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.
