CAFE BADA BY SEA FUEL – West End
We are looking for experienced and reliable Café All-Rounder / Barista to join our team at Sea Fuel in West End.
These are casual positions with approximately 20–38 hours per week, depending on your availability and our business needs.
We are looking for someone who is confident working in a busy café environment and can comfortably handle coffee, iced matcha lattes, smoothies, fresh juices and our POS system.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is quick to learn, and can step in and support the team during busy periods or when other team members are unavailable.
About the Role
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing quality coffee and espresso-based drinks
- Making iced matcha lattes and other specialty beverages
- Preparing smoothies and fresh juices
- Taking customer orders and providing friendly customer service
- Confidently operating our POS system
- Processing EFTPOS, cash and other payments
- Managing orders accurately and efficiently during busy periods
- Keeping the coffee and beverage area clean, organised and well stocked
- Assisting with general front-of-house duties when required
- Helping the team maintain smooth service during busy periods
- Following our recipes and presentation standards
- Opening and/or closing duties when required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous café, barista or hospitality experience
- Is confident making coffee and a variety of cold beverages
- Has good knowledge of POS systems and taking orders
- Can work efficiently during busy service periods
- Is reliable, punctual and well organised
- Has a friendly and positive attitude
- Has good communication and customer service skills
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is willing to help wherever needed
- Has flexible availability, including weekends
Experience with Square POS is highly regarded, but training can be provided to the right person.
Hours
Casual – approximately 20–38 hours per week
We are looking for someone with flexible availability who can provide additional support when our regular team members are unavailable and during busier periods.
There is potential for regular and consistent hours for the right person.
