Boral is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Technical Services team on a permanent, full time basis for our Orange Grove Laboratory.
You'll play a key role in supporting the quality, compliance and performance of Boral's construction materials through aggregate and soil testing.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction materials testing experience or a technically minded individual looking to develop a long-term career within a leading Australian construction materials business. The role also offers exposure to a variety of projects across metropolitan, regional and remote Western Australia.

What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting sampling and testing of aggregates and soils in accordance with Australian Standards, test methods and quality procedures.
- Performing laboratory and field testing to support production and project requirements.
- Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Accurately recording, analysing and reporting test results.
- Supporting compliance with NATA accreditation requirements and quality management systems.
- Assisting with testing activities across metropolitan, regional and remote locations as required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in construction materials testing, laboratory operations or a related industry (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow testing procedures.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Capable of performing manual tasks.
- A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
- Current driver's licence (essential).
- Flexibility to travel and work in regional and remote areas of Western Australia when required.
