The Opportunity
To support our ongoing growth and digital transformation, PROK is seeking a skilled Technical Administrator – Engineering & Manufacturing to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis in Bayswater, WA.
This is a hands-on, technically focused role responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and structure of product data across PROK’s core conveyor component range. Working closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Estimating teams, you’ll ensure product master data, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and ERP configurations are accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Estimating and manufacturing support also forms a key part of this role. You’ll review customer drawings and specifications to develop accurate estimates, source components, and support costing, pricing, and workshop job preparation.
You will also have the opportunity to support PROK’s transition from Pronto ERP to Microsoft Dynamics 365, contributing to data readiness, system implementation, and strong user adoption across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Product Data Management

Create, maintain, and audit item master data for conveyor pulleys, idlers, and winches

Develop and manage BOM structures and part numbering in line with company standards

Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to capture and maintain technical specifications

Perform regular data integrity checks and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
ERP & Systems Administration

Maintain product data within Pronto ERP and support migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365

Participate in data cleansing, mapping, testing, validation, and documentation

Provide ERP data support and training to end users during the transition

Generate reports and data extracts to support operational and management needs
Estimating & Manufacturing Support

Assist with estimating and sourcing activities for assigned products

Review customer drawings and specifications to determine PROK equivalents

Request and evaluate supplier quotes for estimating purposes

Compile workshop job packs including BOMs, drawings, ITPs, and specifications

Support costing and pricing activities through accurate data management
Safety & Compliance

Work in accordance with PROK’s safety standards and procedures

Contribute to a strong safety culture and ensure safety-in-design principles are met
About You
You’re a detail-driven technical administrator with strong experience managing product data in manufacturing environments. You enjoy working cross-functionally, take ownership of data quality, and are comfortable navigating complex ERP systems while improving processes along the way.
You’ll bring:

Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical administration or product data roles

Experience in mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments

Strong understanding of BOM structures and manufacturing processes

ERP experience (Pronto and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly regarded)

Experience supporting data migration or ERP implementation projects

Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with large datasets

Exposure to CAD/PDM systems and database queries (SQL advantageous)
