We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Aged care support workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to our participants under Support At Home . The role involves supporting participants in achieving greater independence, social inclusion, and an improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living support (e.g., grooming, hygiene, dressing).
- Assist participants in developing independent living skills.
- Support clients with community access, recreational activities, and appointments.
- Follow individual support plans and report on participants’ progress.
- Maintain professional boundaries and ensure the safety and dignity of participants.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Perform light domestic duties related to participants’ care needs.
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the care coordination team
Requirements
- Previous experience in disability, community, or aged care (preferred).
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check .
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (preferred).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, patient, and empathetic personality.
- Fluent in English and Chinese communication.
