The successful applicant will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, preparing and presenting food to high standards, supervising kitchen staff, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, controlling food costs and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for customers.
The successful applicant will possess a combination of technical, organisational and intepersonal skills, these include but are not limited to:
- preparing and cooking high quality meals
- strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- ability to work in a fast paced kitchen and show effective time management and organisational skills
- has excellent teamwork and communication skills
- show creativity in menu planning and food presentation
Must have Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or current equivalent or Certificate IV in Kitchen Management and have worked in a commercial kitchen for at least two years prior.
Pay: $78,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
