Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable delivery driver with their own small truck to manage the picking, handling, and dispatch of carpet underlay orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Print customer orders for carpet underlay products.
- Pick appropriate underlay rolls from warehouse stillages.
- Safely load orders into delivery vehicle and unload at destination.
- Confirm completed deliveries and update internal system to reflect stock change.
- Operate a forklift to unload incoming stock from delivery trucks.
- Organise and store new inventory in warehouse stillages.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift license (required).
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or dispatch experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order handling.
- Ability to perform manual handling and lift heavy materials safely.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
- Owner of truck (4T Budget Truck style minimum)
