Position Overview:
As a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of vehicles. Applicants with an Air Conditioning Licence or Vehicle Tester Licence will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of light vehicles.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform safety checks and ensure all vehicles meet compliance standards.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and inform customers of necessary work.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist in mentoring apprentices where required.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of work performed
Requirements:
- Qualified- Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or higher).
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Experience with wheel alignment and tyre fitting and Balancing.
- Air Conditioning License and/or Vehicle Tester License (highly regarded).
- Current and valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
