Pacific Smiles Group is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our Technology Services team, supporting our network of 130+ dental centres nationwide . Based in Sydney, you'll provide a combination of remote and onsite support across centres within your region, helping our teams deliver exceptional patient care through reliable technology solutions.
Reporting to the Head of IT Operations , you'll be part of a collaborative national technology team working closely with Cloud, Cyber Security, Data and Infrastructure specialists to support business-critical systems and technology initiatives.
As an IT Support Engineer, you'll be the trusted face of IT for our centre teams, providing Level 2 support, resolving technical issues, and ensuring our systems remain secure, reliable, and operational.
This role is primarily remote, with regular travel to dental centres across your region for incident response, maintenance, technology health checks, and project support. You'll also play a key role in supporting technology rollouts and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
Provide Level 2 IT support across hardware, software, networking, and end-user technologies
Deliver remote support and attend centres as required for onsite troubleshooting and maintenance
Support technology projects, upgrades, and system implementations
Conduct technology health checks and preventative maintenance activities
Maintain accurate documentation and ticket records through Jira and other support tools
Escalate complex issues appropriately and collaborate with specialist technology teams
Support the delivery of a secure, reliable, and high-performing technology environment
Contribute to process improvements and best-practice IT support
You'll be a positive and approachable IT professional who enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
You'll bring:
Previous experience providing Level 2 IT support, ideally within field services, healthcare, or a multi-site environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
Experience using remote support tools and ticketing systems such as Jira
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to work independently, prioritise competing tasks, and manage your time effectively
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Willingness to travel regularly between centres within your region and occasionally interstate when required
