Coomera Springs Veterinary Surgery is a well-established veterinary clinic on the northern end of the Gold Coast. We offer a full suite of services and are one of only a few clinics in Southeast QLD to boast a truly diverse client base including but not limited to cats, dogs, guinea pigs, goats, alpacas, birds and reptiles. Our goal is to provide a high standard of individualised and compassionate care to all of our patients in an environment that is fast paced and focused on continuing education. The Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team on a part-time basis.
In this role, you'll work closely with our veterinarians and nursing team across a variety of areas including surgery, hospital, reception and patient care. With a rotating roster and varied caseload, you'll have the opportunity to further develop your skills while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and clients.

About You
We're seeking a nurse who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience.
You will have:

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).

Previous experience in a veterinary nursing role (3 + years ideally!)

Strong knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures and patient care.

Experience assisting with complex surgeries, including orthopaedic procedures and caesareans (highly regarded but not essential).

The ability to remain organised and calm in a fast-paced environment.

A compassionate and patient-focused approach to nursing.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning.

A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
