What You'll Be Doing
Build a consistent, respectful relationship that helps create stability, confidence, and a sense of safety
- Support the participant with daily routines, community access, and meaningful activities that promote independence and wellbeing
- Use positive behaviour support strategies to respond calmly and effectively in challenging situations
- Work alongside the broader support team to deliver person-centred care that aligns with the participant's goals and support plan
- Contribute to high-quality support by communicating clearly, documenting important information, and recognising changes in the participant's needs
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting people with mental health, psychosocial disability, and/or complex behaviours
- Has experience or willingness to support individuals with high physical care needs (including Parkinson’s and enteral feeding support)
- Can remain calm under pressure and can confidently maintain professional boundaries while building trust
- Has strong communication, documentation and basic computer skills
- Holds a valid P2 or Open Driver Licence and has access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Has a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
