This is a senior leadership role responsible for owning and delivering a portfolio of complex, high-impact enterprise software implementation and transformation programs.
As Program Director, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, multi-stream SaaS and legacy platform transformation programs, ensuring successful migration from legacy environments to modern, scalable solutions. You’ll be accountable for delivering measurable customer, commercial and operational outcomes, while improving how Civica delivers value through technology.
This role sits at the intersection of technology delivery, commercial performance, and executive stakeholder engagement. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, bringing clear insight on delivery health, risks and trade-offs across complex software implementations.
Leading a team of Program and Project Managers, you will build a high-performing delivery function, embed best-in-class governance, and drive continuous improvement across a portfolio of customer-facing software implementations and transformation programs.
This is a high-impact opportunity to lead enterprise software delivery at scale, shape legacy modernisation journeys, and influence how Civica delivers critical technology solutions to customers globally.
Requirements
What you will need to be successful as Program Director at Civica

Proven experience delivering enterprise SaaS and legacy system transformation programs (not infrastructure-led)

Strong track record leading end-to-end software implementations, including legacy modernisation

Experience managing program financials (budget, forecast, margin) in commercial delivery environments

Ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on delivery, risk and trade-offs

Deep expertise in governance, risk and delivery across complex application programs

Strong leadership of program/project teams, driving accountability and performance

Excellent stakeholder management across customers, delivery teams and partners

Experience managing multi-stream dependencies and enterprise-level risk

Collaborates effectively with Sales to shape deliverable, commercially viable solutions

Experience delivering legacy modernisation / system replacement programs

Background in Education, Government or regulated environments

Global delivery experience across distributed software teams

Certifications (MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, SAFe, Prosci or similar)
