About the Role - Must be able to provide personal care tasks and available to work 3 days week.*****
We support children, young people and families, people with disabilities, and people with mental illness. EmpowerU Support Teams focussed on co-production, supporting people to make decisions about their life and support.
The support you provide might include:
- Personal care, such as help with dressing, eating, showering, toileting, or moving around the house
- Helping the person develop skills – for example, making a budget, taking public transport, using assistive technology, or preparing meals
- Assisting the person to participate in social outings, recreational activities and community events
- Providing companionship, conversation and emotional support.
- Assisting with transport to attend appointments
- Domestic assistance, such as house cleaning, shopping, laundry, or performing errands

Key Responsibilities
· Follow person-centred support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully
· Participate in community activities and encourage clients to perform daily living tasks
· Track and maintain records of client progress,
· Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients and their families
· Provide in-home support and domestic assistance

Skills & Experience
Must be able to provide personal care tasks and available to work 3 days a week
- An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s license
- Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with children check

Salary: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
