Th e Platform Manager, Finance & Talent is a newly created position in our Digital & Technology group . This pivotal role is accountable for the day-to-day availability , productivity and e nablement of Cricket Australia’s core Finance and HR platforms , ensuring our systems perform at their best for teams across CA and the State Associations. Y ou ’ll play a hands-on role with a service first mindset, keeping the innings moving through secure reliable platform performance , continuous improvement and evolution of products now and into the future .
Own the day-to-day performance of core Finance and HR platforms, ensuring smooth r unning across availability, user experience, and service delivery across the entire ecosystem .
Maintain the scoreboard on effective BAU management , triaging requests, resolving issues, and coordinating with vendors to deliver timely outcomes .
Translate Finance and HR needs into platform configuration, process improvement, controls and reporting outcomes.
Identify and drive continuous improvement through system enhancements, business process optimisation , and smarter ways of working through automation and AI .
Influenc e the game by building and executing platform roadmaps, strengthening governance, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver impactful, compliant solutions
Tertiary qualifications (bachelor’s degree) in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Commerce or equivalent relevant experience.
Relevant certifications are desirable (e.g., ITIL, Agile/Scrum, vendor platform certifications, data/integration fundamentals).
Strong understanding of Finance and HR processes, including procurement, expenses, planning, reporting, workforce administration and employee lifecycle.
Hands-on capability in platform administration, integrations, data/reporting, testing, releases, access controls and cyber-safe operations.
Demonstrated experience in Finance and HR platforms management, BAU operations, including incident management, prioritisation, and continuous service improvement.
Experience with Workday, Maestro , Cognos, Concur , D365 or similar systems.
Experience delivering system enhancements and change using Agile or hybrid methodologies (including UAT, releases, and stakeholder engagement)
Proven ability to manage vendors, prioritise demand, document processes and deliver enhancements and outcomes.
Strong communication , documentation, and collaboration skills, with experience in integrations, reporting/analytics, and emerging technologies such as AI and automation
