The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Business Support Officer (Radiology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Coordinate and support the effective operation of meetings, committees and conferences
Prepare, co-ordinate and monitor financial and administrative transactions
Plan and prioritise workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment
Assist the Medical and Assistant Director with managing and reviewing HR and Payroll-related reports
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

About Us
The Medical Imaging Service (MIS) delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS).
The service provides a Level 6 Medical Imaging service at Southport (Gold Coast University Hospital) and a Level 4 service at Robina. The Queensland Health Clinical Services Capability Framework (version 3) describes these services as:
A Level 6 service at Southport provides a wide range of imaging services and complex, on-site interventional and neuro-interventional procedures, Nuclear Medicine and Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Computerised Tomography (CT), Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services on-site. The Nuclear Medicine service includes radio pharmacy, general nuclear medicine, Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT)/CT and PET/CT.
A Level 4 service at Robina provides fixed-room fluoroscopy, on-site CT services, MRI, complex ultrasound, interventional radiology Tier A, and mammography and interventional breast imaging services.
