Position: Preschool Room Educator
As a Preschool Room Educator, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and guiding our preschool-aged children as they embark on their educational journey. We are seeking a passionate professional who possesses the following qualities:
1. Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 6 months of experience working with children.
- Possess a current First Aid certification, including CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis training.
- Familiarity with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
2. Passion for Early Childhood Education
- Display a genuine love for working with children and a deep understanding of their developmental needs.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and independence.
- Implement age-appropriate programs that stimulate growth across all areas of development.
3. Strong Communication and Collaborative Skills
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, building positive relationships based on trust and respect.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and implement engaging activities that align with the centre's curriculum.
- Provide regular feedback to parents, highlighting their child's achievements and progress.
4. Dedication to Safety and Well-being
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Promote positive behavior management techniques that encourage self-regulation and empathy.
- Attend to children's physical and emotional needs, fostering a sense of belonging and security.
