The SIAM Onboarding, Offboarding and Governance Lead is responsible for ensuring service providers are introduced into, governed within and transitioned out of the SIAM ecosystem in a controlled and consistent way.
The role works closely with customer stakeholders, service providers and internal service management teams to establish clear responsibilities, and operational requirements, and maintain effective governance throughout the provider lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Provider Onboarding
- Own and coordinate the end-to-end onboarding of service providers into the SIAM ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain onboarding plans, checklists, templates, readiness criteria and acceptance requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding activities across service management, technology, security, commercial and operational teams.
- Ensure roles, responsibilities, service interfaces, dependencies and escalation paths are clearly documented.
- Integrate providers into relevant governance forums, reporting cycles, service management processes and tools.
- Manage onboarding risks and conduct operational readiness reviews before transition into live service.
Provider Offboarding
- Own and coordinate the controlled offboarding of service providers from the SIAM ecosystem.
- Develop offboarding plans covering service continuity, knowledge transfer, access removal, assets and customer data.
- Coordinate the handover of services, documentation, operational knowledge and outstanding actions.
- Work with stakeholders to manage dependencies and minimise disruption during provider transition or exit.
- Confirm that contractual, security, operational and service management obligations have been completed.
- Conduct post-offboarding reviews and capture lessons learned for future transitions.
Management and Reporting
- Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders, internal teams and service providers.
- Act as the central coordination point for provider onboarding, offboarding and governance activities.
- Ensure providers understand the customer environment, SIAM operating model and expected ways of working.
- Establish and maintain governance arrangements for all service providers operating within the SIAM model.
- Provide report and insights for governance forums to assist with informed decision-making
- Monitor provider compliance with agreed SIAM processes, policies, standards and ways of working.
- Review onboarding, offboarding and governance processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Use reporting, stakeholder feedback and lessons learned to improve the provider lifecycle experience.
