Requirements for this role:
- More than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this role
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc.) to the cafe’s standards.
- Dial in grinders, maintain consistency in coffee extraction, and ensure optimal taste and prpresentation.
- Create latte art and customize drinks based on customer preferences.
- Maintain and clean coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure hygiene and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders, answering questions, and handling customer inquiries with a friendly demeanor.
- Operate the POS system, process payments, and manage cash handling accurately.
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation as needed (e.g., sandwiches, pastries, or light meals).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including front-of-house areas, tables, and service counters.
- Support stock management, including restocking supplies, checking inventory, and receiving deliveries.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the cafe is ready for service or securely closed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Pay: $33.85 per hour
