Early Childhood Educator
We are looking for an qualified, reliable, and highly motivated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. Individuals with a strong sense of team spirit and a growth mindset are essential.
Our centre operates as a Montessori Kindergarten Long Day Child Care and is located in Langwarrin. The position is available for the candidate that has a desire to further their skills and knowledge in the childcare industry. You will be working in a supportive environment with experienced educators.
- ACECQA recognized Diploma and above qualification in Early Childhood Education

About you
You will be expected to embrace the Montessori Pedagogy and core values when working with the children, including a willingness to undergo training and attend workshops if requested.
You will:

- Possess the industry-standard police check, work with children check, first aid, food handling.
- Have excellent classroom management skills.
- Be eager to invest your own time into the personal study with a desire to take your career to a higher level.
- Have a passion for achievement and satisfaction in teaching children during their most precious years.
- Be prepared to work shifts according to rostered hours from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm.
- Have a reliable vehicle and must be within easy commuting distance to the outer South-Eastern suburbs (maximum 40 minutes travel time).
- A Montessori background is desirable
- Experience in working with children with additional needs
- If you have experience in another discipline such as music, dance or creative arts this would be seen as favourable.
- Trained to care for individuals with Special Needs would be beneficial, but not essential.
