The newly established Procurement Compliance team is responsible for providing system-wide oversight of procurement across NSW Health, including monitoring compliance with legislative and policy requirements, leading audits and risk management activities, maintaining the NSW Health Procurement Policy framework, supporting mitigation of governance risks, and delivering reporting and secretariat support to the NSW Health Procurement Board.

This role provides essential administrative and coordination support to the Procurement Compliance team within the Ministry of Health. You will coordinate day-to-day governance activities, maintain key procurement compliance artefacts such as policies, registers and assurance schedules, and provide secretariat support to the NSW Health Procurement Board, including meeting coordination, stakeholder liaison and document management. The role also supports the timely delivery of procurement governance and compliance initiatives through high-quality administrative support, while maintaining independence from operational procurement activities.
Crown Clerk grade 5/6 starting salary from $99,938 - $110,271 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location - 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards

What you will be doing
- Maintain compliance registers, assurance schedules and governance documentation to support audit readiness, accreditation requirements and system-wide oversight.
- Coordinate the administration of key governance meetings, including the NSW Health Procurement Board, by preparing and collating papers, coordinating logistics, recording minutes and tracking actions.
- Provide administrative support for independent sign-off processes and associated governance documentation.
- Assist in collating compliance data and preparing summary reports for governance forums and senior review.
- Manage stakeholder communications and timeframes for the Procurement Compliance Unit to support timely, accurate and high-quality deliverables.
Maintain confidentiality, integrity and appropriate handling of compliance records and sensitive information.

About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in data analytics, risk, or governance, or equivalent experience in administrative or governance support roles within a complex organisation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining compliance documentation.
- Understanding of NSW Government procurement compliance requirements (or ability to acquire quickly).
- The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
