We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist clients in maintaining their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. You will provide person-centred support to individuals in their homes and community settings, helping with daily living activities and encouraging social participation.
Workers are carefully matched with participants to ensure the right fit and continuity of care. You need to be reliable, trustworthy, have good interpersonal skills and flexibility.
There are a variety of short (2-4 hour) shifts available (Mon-Fri), please indicate your availability during your application
What We’re Looking For
* Certificate III in Aged care/Disability or equivalent
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
* Police clearance certificate
* Strong communication skills, reliability, and a genuine caring approach
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily living support
- Assist clients with meal preparation, medication reminders, and household tasks
- Support clients with community access, appointments, and social activities
- Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Promote client dignity, choice, and independence
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment at all times
Pay: $45.00 per hour
