The Housing Assistance branch within the Health and Community Services Directorate (HCSD) is seeking a motivated and capable Contract and Program Manager to join the Homelessness Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to programs and services that support some of the ACT's most vulnerable community members while helping shape innovative responses to homelessness and housing disadvantage.
Working in a small, collaborative team, you will manage a significant portfolio of service agreements and grants, working closely with community organisations, government stakeholders and sector partners to ensure eff ective service delivery and positive outcomes for the community.
The role offers a diverse workload spanning contract management, program development, stakeholder engagement and policy implementation. You will contribute to high-quality advice, briefings and reports, support contract monitoring and compliance activities, and help drive continuous improvement across homelessness programs and services.
We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships, think strategically, manage competing priorities and respond confidently to emerging issues. You will bring sound judgement, strong communication skills and a commitment to collaboration, innovation and service excellence.
