The Black Toro is looking for a Casual Chef to join our team at our Glen Waverley venue.
If you’re after reliable weekend work, this role comes with secured shifts every Friday and Saturday night.
We’re a busy, vibrant restaurant serving modern Hispanic cuisine, so you’ll be working with bold flavours, quality ingredients, and a supportive kitchen crew.

What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a chef or competant cook
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced service
- Good knife skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Strong food safety and hygiene standards
- Must be available Friday & Saturday evenings
Your role:
- Preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard
- Supporting service during busy periods
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
- Following food safety standards & procedures
Pay: $27.00 – $35.14 per hour
