We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Greek-speaking Support Worker to join our growing team. The ability to speak Greek is essential for this role, as you will be supporting Greek-speaking clients and helping them communicate comfortably while maintaining their cultural preferences.
About the Role
As a Disability & Aged Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, personalised support to clients in their homes and community. You will assist with daily living activities while promoting independence, choice and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Assist with household tasks and meal preparation
- Support clients with shopping and community participation
- Transport and accompany clients to appointments
- Help clients develop life skills, confidence and independence
- Support clients to build new hobbies and interests
- Work collaboratively with families and allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Communicate effectively with clients, including providing support in Greek where required
Essential Requirements
- Fluent in both Greek and English
- Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) or equivalent
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with current registration and comprehensive insurance
- Australian Citizenship, Australian Birth Certificate, or valid Australian work rights
