About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie on a casual basis to join the kitchen team at the Paradise Hotel.
Working across a busy bistro and function operation, you'll take ownership of your section while delivering consistently high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role is ideal for a chef who enjoys service, thrives under pressure and takes pride in producing quality food every shift.
You'll work alongside an experienced kitchen leadership team committed to delivering exceptional food while supporting your professional growth and career progression within one of Australia's leading hospitality groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate your designated kitchen section during service
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes with consistency, precision and attention to detail
- Maintain food quality, presentation and portion control across every service
- Assist with food preparation, stock rotation and section organisation
- Support the delivery of bistro dining, functions and special events
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance
- Contribute to stock control, minimise wastage and maintain an organised, efficient kitchen
About You:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a high-volume hospitality venue (bistro or pub kitchens is highly regarded)
- Ability to confidently run a section during busy service periods
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Sound understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster (including evenings, weekends and public holidays)
- Australian working rights (sponsorship not available)
