We Care Hub is on the lookout for committed and compassionate female support workers to join our growing team across Melbourne’s northern suburbs. There are currently vacancies open for disability support workers in North Melbourne on the program of a female client with disability. This is a one-on-one disability support role in the private home of the client, with flexible daytime and evening shifts, making it a great option to balance with study or other commitments.
Support workers will assist with daily living activities, personal care, light household tasks and community access. Reliability, clear communication and a willingness to learn are essential. Experience in disability support and/or relevant checks and certificates will be highly regarded, with training and ongoing support from experienced workers and registered nurses provided.
QUALIFICATIONS
– Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (or professional equivalent)
– Experience preferred, but full training is also provided
– NDIS Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR, and Police Check
PAY RATE
As a Disability Support Worker Level III, you’ll be paid casual rates starting at $36 per hour on weekdays, rising to $38–$39 per hour for evenings and overnight shifts. Weekend rates are higher, with $45.53 per hour on Saturdays and $55.11 per hour on Sundays. Public holidays and emergency shifts pay $63.93 per hour.
