Educator Needed for Family Support in Robina: Focus on Child with Complex Needs
We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified educator to support a family in Robina. The family consists of six members, including four children. One of the children, a 6-year-old, has Global Development Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADHD.
This role will require you to work closely with the child’s support worker to implement developmentally appropriate activities that foster and expand upon the child's developmental milestones. Lifting may be required.
Role Overview:
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the child's support worker to implement care and educational plans
- Fostering developmentally appropriate activities to support the child’s learning and growth
- Providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for the child
- Supporting the child in achieving developmental milestones and building essential skills
Days and Hours Required:
- Hours Monday to Friday full days/split shift up to 30 hours per week.
- 6am starts
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly rate: $41.60 per hour inclusive of super

Prerequisites:
- Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved) with a minimum of 2 years' experience
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (in a childcare setting)
- Blue Card
- Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
- Public liability insurance (once successfully placed)
- Medical Clearance
- Child Protection training (refresher required every 2 years)
- ABN (this role is for a self-employed contractor)
- Photo ID
- PRODA RA (assistance provided)
- Over 18 years old
- Reliable car and driver’s licence
