About The Momos Hub

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of our flagship restaurant. This leadership role also involves providing occasional operational support and oversight at our Burwood store to ensure consistent service standards across both locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and smooth service.
- Recruit, lead, train, mentor and supervise front-of-house staff.
- Prepare staff rosters and manage labour costs to maximise operational efficiency.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and professionally resolve customer feedback and complaints.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), liquor licensing requirements and company policies.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Manage budgets, control food and beverage costs and improve profitability.
- Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain exceptional food quality, presentation and service standards.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements and customer flow during busy service periods.
- Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, promotions and community engagement activities.
- Foster a positive workplace culture built on teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide occasional management support at our Burwood store, including staff supervision and operational oversight.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least three years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar hospitality management role.
- A qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Management or a related discipline (preferred).
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control and profit improvement.
- Experience using POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Food Safety Standards, WHS legislation and liquor licensing requirements.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and time management skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Willingness to provide management support at our Burwood store when required.
- Experience with Nepalese or South Asian cuisine is highly regarded but not essential.
