About the role
The Contracts and Administration Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery and administration of facilities management and infrastructure‑related contracted services across TAFE NSW. Working under broad guidance, this role coordinates a wide range of administrative and contract support activities that underpin strong governance, compliance and service delivery outcomes across a diverse portfolio of suppliers operating at sites across the state.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and service providers to maintain contract and asset records, support meetings and communications, monitor contract performance, and facilitate efficient workflows for compliance, payments and reporting. With opportunities to contribute to process improvement initiatives and the embedding of consistent contract administration practices, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing day‑to‑day administration with problem‑solving, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.
About you
You are a detail‑focused contracts or administration professional with a strong foundation in business support and coordination activities. You hold a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline, or bring equivalent skills, knowledge and experience, along with a valid NSW Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement. You are confident using business support systems and bring strong written and verbal communication skills to support accurate, timely and compliant contract administration.
You have experience liaising with a diverse range of internal staff and service providers on administrative matters, and you are comfortable following up issues and facilitating practical resolutions. With a methodical and organised approach, you have produced a range of documents, procedures or resources to support contracts administration or similar processes, and you take pride in contributing to improved ways of working, customer‑focused outcomes and consistent governance practices.
