Seasonal Sphere Services is a growing labour hire company specialising in events, exhibitions and live environments.
I've worked in this industry for over a decade and built Seasonal Sphere Services to create a team that clients can rely on and people genuinely enjoy working for. We're a small, hands-on company where you'll deal directly with management—not a large agency where you're just another number.
Every project is different. One week you could be helping deliver a major exhibition at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, the next unloading trucks on the Gold Coast or travelling interstate for a large event. If you enjoy variety, working outdoors and indoors, and being part of a close-knit team, this is a role unlike a typical warehouse or labouring job.
Brisbane, Gold Coast & Interstate Projects
The Work
You'll be part of experienced event crews working on live sites with tight deadlines, moving freight, equipment and stock safely around busy venues.
Typical duties include:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Forklift operation (LF Licence required)
- Forklift spotting and maintaining exclusion zones
- Moving exhibition freight and equipment
- Stock management and on-site logistics
- General labour including bump-ins and bump-outs
- Assisting the team wherever required
No two days are the same, and depending on the project you may perform different tasks throughout the day. Flexibility and teamwork are essential.
Roles AvailableForklift Operator (LF Licence Required)
Working in live event environments where safety, awareness and communication are critical.
Responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Moving freight in confined areas
- Working closely with spotters
- Maintaining safe operating practices
- Assisting with general labour when required
Spotter / General Labour
Supporting forklift operations while helping keep projects running efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining forklift exclusion zones
- Guiding forklift operators safely through busy work areas
- Moving stock and exhibition equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks
- General labour and supporting the crew wherever required

Event sites can be fast-paced, and clients often work to tight deadlines. You need to communicate well, stay professional and work safely at all times.
Essential Requirements
To be considered you must have:
- Full Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable registered vehicle
- High-visibility shirt
- Steel cap safety boots
- Physical fitness for manual work
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Forklift Operator applicants must also hold a current LF High Risk Work Licence.
Availability
We have work available throughout the year across a variety of exhibitions and events. Shifts range from single-day projects to larger multi-day events, offering flexible casual work in a unique industry.
Availability for early starts, weekend work and interstate travel opportunities is highly regarded
